Our new billing system is rolling out later this month alongside the Harmony update. So, what does this mean for your account?
Slow Your Roll
The Harmony update, with its new UI, themes, quality-of-life improvements, and support system, will go live for everyone at the same time.
However, the new billing system will be rolled out gradually across accounts. This allows us to make sure everything is working smoothly before letting it loose on all our customers.
Make Sure Your Account Is Safe
Even if you don't get access to the new billing system on day one, our new live chat and support ticket system will run through the Kinetic Panel as soon as the Harmony update launches. This means anyone with access to your Kinetic Panel account will be able to request billing actions through our support team.
So, if you've shared your account password with anyone, please change it and use the panel's sub-user system instead. We also strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) to keep your account secure as well.
Migrate Your Account Sooner
For now, migrating your billing account is entirely voluntary.
When the Harmony update goes live later this month, you'll be able to request an early migration by clicking the new Migration Request button. Once you've submitted your request, your account will be migrated within 72 hours, and your old billing account will be closed.
We'll initially be limiting the number of migration requests we accept, but we'll gradually open this up to more and more customers as the rollout progresses.
By the end of next year, we plan to stop accepting new orders through our legacy billing system. At that point, customers will need to migrate to the new system to continue ordering new services.
Is Moving My Account Hard?
Nope! All you need to do is press the migration request button, select your services, add your payment method, and you're done. Nice and simple!
Do I Keep My Old Discounts or Prices?
Yep! If you're on legacy pricing or have an old sale or discount applied to your service, it will carry over to the new billing system. You'll continue paying the same price you do now.
Will My Package Stay the Same?
Yep, nothing will change! Your package will remain exactly as it is, even if you're on a legacy package that's no longer available to purchase.
Can I Move My Lifetime or Giveaway Server?
Of course! Lifetime and giveaway servers can also be migrated to the new billing system. Everything will carry over as normal, with no changes to your server or its benefits.
