Our story
Hello! We're Kinetic Hosting.
Kinetic Hosting sprang to life back in 2020, founded by myself (Chris), and Carlton. We were running a public Minecraft server called the Kinetic Network - yep, that's where our name came from. Through years of managing this server and our community, we tried loads of game server hosts. None really hit the mark.
We found some with the server muscle we needed, but they were stuck with dated control panels and missing needed features. Others were limping on old tech or took ages to get back to us when we needed help. Plus, it seemed like the big names in hosting were charging an arm and a leg.
That's when Carlton and I decided to take matters into our own hands. We moved away from game server hosts, opting instead to rent or buy our own dedicated hardware. That's where all this started - we began tweaking the open-source panel, Pterodactyl, adding cool features that suited our needs.
But, not everyone's into managing their own server, right? So, in 2020, we launched Kinetic Hosting, armed with all the insights from our combined 20+ years in the game server realm. We brought over everything we learned, always tweaking things based on what our clients told us. Our goals? A sleek and user-friendly interface, powerful servers, and support that's there when you need it.
Fast forward to now, and Kinetic Hosting's been earning a rep as a reliable, wallet-friendly host, with a serious focus on customer support and happiness. We've kept our team lean and our overheads low, which means we can pass those savings on to you. We're super proud of what we've built, but the journey's far from over. We're always on the lookout for ways to up our game, and we love getting feedback from you guys on how we can keep getting better.
