This resource pack is a continuation of the classic "Halloween Mash-Up" texture pack from the legacy console edition of Minecraft. If you're hoping for a classic Minecraft experience that stays true to the essence of the game, or are hoping to relive the nostalgia of the old Halloween Mash-Up texture pack, you'll be able to use this pack with versions of the game up through the latest 26.3!

BrandonItaly's Halloween Mash-Up resource pack can be found through their official Modrinth page here, or direct on Curseforge! The pack includes highlights such as:
UI/Menu changes to fit a pumpkin-orange color scheme.
Retextures of pretty much all items and blocks in the game!
Halloween costume retextures for armor and weapons, letting you live out your own trick or treat dreams in Minecraft with friends.
2: Halloween GUI

For anyone looking for a Halloween-themed resource pack that adds a bit of whimsy to the interfaces and GUI in-game, this may be your best bet! Break free from the reds and oranges of Halloween with a purple-colored GUI full of cobwebs, ghostly wisps, gravestones, and more!

SoraNoUmi's GUI pack can be found on their official Curseforge page here for most versions up through Minecraft 1.21.7! You'll be able to expect highlights such as:
Custom hotbar icons (and the hotbar itself)!
Tons of themed inventories and menus, varying depending on what inventory you're viewing.
Hidden bats hiding around various inventories for you to spot!
3: Zombies Revamped

The spooky mobs of Minecraft deserve a bit of love this season, too! Consider an overhaul to the undead zombies in Minecraft, adding entirely new biome-specific zombies, sounds, and textures! The Zombies Revamped resource pack is a remake and continuation of the classic "The Zombie Pack" texture pack.

You can find the Zombies Revamped resource pack for versions up through Minecraft 26.1.2 on their Curseforge page here! You'll be able to experience highlights such as:
New, scarier zombie variants and retextures.
An overhaul to Minecraft's zombie noises!
Custom zombies that will vary depending on the biome and region you're in.
4: Default Style Halloween Pack

Futureazoo's Default-Style Halloween Pack offers a much more vanilla spin on Halloween!
The custom textures and additions from this pack will blend right in with your world, adding spiders beneath tree leaves, new leaf piles, turning tall ferns into tombstones, and dressing the mobs around your world up for Halloween as well! If you're looking for a cozier, cuter Halloween experience, this could be the perfect pack for you to avoid the grunge or horror of some other resource packs.

You can find Futureazoo's resource pack on their Curseforge page here! The pack is available for most recent versions, including the latest 26.3 release! For the mobs to look their best in their costumes, though, you'll want to consider also adding either the Optifine mod, or both the EMF (Entity Model Features) & ETF (Entity Texture Features) mods to your game.
This pack includes highlights such as:
Dressing up the mobs of the world to look their very best for Halloween!
Recolors to leaves and grass to better fit the season.
Some special item textures, like candy pails instead of the boring old iron buckets!
5: Horror Cave Sounds

We wouldn't be covering all our bases if we didn't also include a pack that focuses on terrifying sound effects in the game!
Most of us already know how creepy the cave sounds in Minecraft can be. But with Annoy's cave sounds resource pack, you can take this a step further. From creepy effects to all-new scares and haunting sounds, this is the perfect pack if you want to take the 'scare factor' of Minecraft to an other level.

You can find Annoy's Horror Cave Sounds resource pack on Modrinth or Curseforge, designed for versions up through Minecraft 26.1.2. If you choose to install it, be prepared for new sounds such as:
Haunting, unidentified noises you can't quite place.
Blood-curdling screams!
All-new ambience to keep you on edge.
Honorable Mentions

There are so many resource packs out there ready to get you immersed in the spooky season. While we made sure to include a good variety, there are a few more especially worth a mention this year, including:
Halloween Music Pack

This is a music-only resource pack, adding spooky music from other Minecraft projects like Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Legends, and more!
You can find JasOn_JOestar's Halloween Music Pack resource pack on Curseforge here.

Fresh Crawling Hand

If you're not big on Spiders, the Fresh Crawling Hand resource pack can give you something even more creepy and crawly. This pack will replace the spider texture with crawling hands, including all-new animations and different health stages which affect the appearance of the hands! You can find FreshLX's Crawling Hand resource pack on PlanetMinecraft here!
Spooky Birch

Finally, if you're into turning the mundane into something much more ominous, than Rappenem's Spooky Birch mod might be right for you! This mod adds eyes to birch logs, including their own animations as thy blink and stare at you. If you're prepared to make birch forests more haunting than they've ever been, you can find this mod on Curseforge here!
