Highlights of the Spring to Life Update
New Mob Variants
Minecraft mobs have gotten a makeover to better match their surroundings:
Cold Biome Mobs: Find fluffy pigs, shaggy cows, and blue-gray chickens wandering snowy biomes.
Warm Biome Mobs: Desert and savanna mobs now blend seamlessly with sandy environments.
Biome-specific Sheep: Sheep colors now depend on their habitat—black sheep thrive in cold climates, brown sheep dominate sandy deserts, and white sheep prefer grassy biomes.
Wolves With Personality
Wolves aren't just wolves anymore—they've got personalities! With seven different types, each wolf now expresses itself uniquely through sounds. Grab some bones and start your pack.
New Spawn Egg Designs
Spawn eggs in Creative mode have been upgraded visually to clearly represent their mobs—complete with horns, wings, or snouts. Picking the right egg has never been easier.
Enhanced Ambient Features
Your Minecraft world now feels more alive:
Experience falling leaves, fireflies lighting up the night, vibrant wildflowers, and dynamic cactus blossoms.
The Firefly Bush, found near water, adds a mesmerizing glow at night.
Easier Navigation With Lodestones
Lodestones are easier to craft, requiring just an iron ingot and chiseled bricks. Pair them with a compass to never lose your way home again.
