Games on our platform fall into two categories:

• Main Lineup Games

• Limited Support Games

In this guide, we’ll explain the difference between the two, and how that affects your experience as a server owner.

What Is a Main Lineup Game?

Main lineup games are the titles we officially promote and sell directly on our website.

These games benefit from:

• Built-in quality-of-life features on the control panel

• Guides and help videos in our knowledgebase

• Full staff support — our team is fully trained on how these games work

• Thorough testing to ensure performance and compatibility on our infrastructure

When you order a game server through our site, you're choosing from this list of main lineup games.

What Is a Limited Support Game?

Limited support games are not sold directly on our site, but you can switch to them from your panel after ordering a server.

These games are supported by our panel software and can run well, but:

• They don’t have custom panel integrations or extra QoL features

• We don’t offer setup guides or video tutorials for them

• Our staff may not be fully trained to support them

• They may not be tested as extensively on our infrastructure

These games will be clearly marked as “Limited Support” inside the Kinetic Hosting panel.

Functionally, limited support games run just like main lineup games. The main difference is in how much help and documentation we offer.

Over time, games can move from limited support to our main lineup as demand and resources allow.
