Incoming Price Changes For New Orders

As I'm sure you know, the AI boom is causing havoc in the hardware space, with prices going up every single day. With RAM prices over x10 what they were a year ago, and NVMe drives over x6, the cost of running hardware is getting more and more expensive. By working with our amazing partners, we've so far been able to keep these costs away from you, but due to price changes in some regions, we've had to make an update to our pricing.

New Prices

All packages starting July 1st will be going up by around $1 USD/month. This will change a little based on regional pricing. This won't impact people who already have servers with us; this is only for new orders.

Here is a breakdown of the pricing changes:

• 4GB - $3.99 to $4.99

• 8GB - $6.99 to $7.99

• 12GB - $10.99 to $11.99

• 16GB - $14.99 to $15.99

• 21GB - $19.99 to $20.99

• 26GB - $24.99 to $25.99

• 32GB - $30.00 to $30.99

• 64GB - $60.00 to $60.99

To help soften this, we will be rolling out a new 10GB plan at around $9.99 and also giving all new plans an extra backup slot.
Any regional price increases from before will also be going up by $1/month.

Changes To Locations

Some of the regions we offer servers in have had bigger price rises than others. Our systems in our Finland location have gone up by 700% per month. For this reason, until prices settle down, we won't be stocking new servers in the Finland region. The stock we have now is all we have.

Other regions also impacted by bigger price rises are Poland and Australia. For now, we have no plans to scrap these regions, but I just want to alert you to the changes.

An Apology

At Kinetic, we've always taken pride in the fact that our prices go down, not up. But this is simply something out of our hands. We don't want to change our pricing, and we've held off on changing any prices for as long as we can. However, with prices going up the way they are, we have no choice. Right now, we hope we won't need to increase our prices again, and we'll be working with our amazing data centre partners to keep our prices as low as we can.
