How To Change A Minecraft Servers View Distance

If a player has a view distance of 12 on their client, and the server is set to 10. They can only see the 10 chunks

Changing The Distance

By default your server will be set to 10. This is just what Minecraft has servers default to.

1 Login to the Kinetic Panel

2 Head to the Settings Page.

3 Click on the Server Properties tab.

3 Inside of the Search Settings box type in "View Distance"

4 You can now change this number to whatever you would like and restart the server.

What Is a Chunk?

A chunk is 16 x 16 blocks.
