Changing The Simulation Distance

By default, your servers Simulation Distance will be set to 10. Follow these instructions to edit the simulation distance value:

  1. Login to the Kinetic Panel

  2. Stop your server by clicking the power button, then clicking the square icon.

  3. Open the settings page.

  4. Click on the "Server Properties" tab.

  5. In the server properties search bar, type "simulation-distance". Then, you'll be able to see and change the Simulation Distance chunk value on the right side.

  6. Once you've made your change, make sure to click the "Save" button on the top-right corner.

  7. Start your server by clicking the power button, then clicking the play button.

  8. Your servers simulation distance will now be changed.

What Is the size of a Chunk?

A chunk is 16 x 16 blocks.

Ctrl+K opens site search. When link hints are enabled, hold Shift to label every visible page link, menu item, order control and location. Keep Shift held while typing the displayed label, or release Shift to close the labels.

Enter at least two characters to search the site.
