Enshrouded has a super involved skill system, allowing you to go down different branches of a skill tree as you level up to unlock improvements to your combat, building, and general gameplay. We'll help cover some of the methods you can use to level up and gain skill points quicker!
Mining Ores & Resources
Mining in Enshrouded is one of the quickest ways you can get XP reliably! Ore deposits are found all around the map, so it's worth bringing spare pickaxes and tools as you travel.

Just digging through regular terrain doesn't count, though, so you'll want to focus your energy on mining veins of ores in full when you find them.
Exploration & Landmarks
If you haven't explored the Enshrouded map yet, you can work towards unlocking the various ancient spires around the map and discovering locations for experience gain as well! Combine exploration with digging up resource deposits along the way for even more efficient XP farming.
As you discover new landmarks on the map, you'll be automatically awarded experience without needing to do anything more than explore the sights!

Otherwise, Ancient Spires are fast travel points for you to get around the map of Enshrouded, but may require that you complete a puzzle or challenge in order to reach them. They're worth the effort, though, because those one-time unlocks will allow you to jump between points of the map immediately.
Quest Progression
It might go without saying for some, but quests also give you a good chunk of experience as you complete them! Even just keeping an eye on the objectives in your journal as you explore the world is a good idea, because you'll be able to fulfill quite a few of these as you work towards the above methods for gaining levels as well.

If you don't want to tackle questlines at all yet or want to come back letter once you feel like you're ready to experience them more, that's okay as well! Just make sure to unlock Ancient Spires as you travel, though, to make your life a lot easier when the time comes to go back and get into questing.
Clear Shroud Roots & Elixir Wells
If you're in a position already where you feel prepared to tackle some of the more challenging content in the game, you can also clear some battle-based content for extra levels! Elixir Wells will give you three skill points for completion, while regular shroud roots will just give one.

This method will require that you clear out the enemies inside and cut down the large root in the area to clear out the shroud. You'll oftentimes be able to find more rewards after clearing the area, so don't be in too much of a rush to head to the next root once you complete on!
