How to Add World Modifiers to Your Valheim Server

World modifiers and presets are a way to change the difficulty of your Valheim server. You can add world modifiers or presets on the settings page under Additional Startup Parameters.

Adding World Modifiers

When added world modifiers, add them in the following format:

-modifier resources most

If you want to add more than one, add them with a space, like this:

-modifier resources most -modifier raids none -modifier portals casual

List of World Modifiers

Here is a list of world modifiers you can add to your Valheim server:

combat - veryeasy easy hard veryhard
deathpenalty - casual veryeasy easy hard hardcore
resources - muchless less more muchmore most
raids - none muchless less more muchmore
portals - casual hard veryhard

Here is the listed modifier and their value. So if you wanted combat to be very easy, you would add:

-modifier combat veryeasy 

Adding World Presets

You can also add world presets to your Valheim server. Here is a list of world presets you can add to your Valheim server:

casual
easy
normal
hard
hardcore
immersive
hammer

To add a world preset, add it in the following format:

-preset casual

Keys/Toggles
