How to Generate a GSLT Key for The Forest

A GSLT key is used to give some accountability to a server, especially in cases where Terms of Service (ToS) are broken.
Log in to the Steam Community.
Go to Steam Game Servers
At the bottom of the page, fill in the required boxes.
The App ID and a Note (typically the name of the game) must be provided.
The App ID for The Forest is 242760.The login token is the GSLT key. Copy this.
Log in to the Kinetic Panel.
Open the Settings page
Locate the Key box
Paste in the GSLT key.
Start your server
