Downloading a Resource Pack

First make or download the resource pack you want your players to use.

Uploading a Resource Pack

You'll need somewhere to host your resource pack. This can't be hosted on your server. Our go to place to host a pack is mc-packs.net.

1 Head to mc-packs.net

2 Upload the zipped version of the resource pack. This may take a while depending on your internet.

3 Then, you will see the Download URL & the SHA-1 HASH.

You can now follow the steps below to add the Resource Pack onto your server.

Adding a Resource Pack to Your Server

We're now going to show you how to add the Resource Pack onto your server.

1. Login to the Kinetic Panel

2. Stop your server by clicking the power button, then click the square button.

   

3. Locate and open your settings menu.

   

4. In the settings menu, click the "Server Properties" tab.

   

5. You'll then find a search bar, here, you can search "resource". You'll then find all the resource pack settings.

   

6. In the download URL box, you will need to input the download URL for your resource pack.
   And then, in the "Resource Pack SHA1" box, you will need to enter the SHA1 code.

   

7. Once you've entered the information into those boxes, save your changes by clicking the "Save" button on the top right of the screen.

   

8. You can now start your server by clicking the power button, then click the play button.

   

TroubleShooting

If you're having issues with the resource pack not working, make sure you have the correct link in the resource-pack field, the resource pack is a zip file, and that the pack is for the version of Minecraft you're running on your server.

Make sure the Resource Pack supports the Minecraft version your server is running, as you may run into broken-texture issues.
