How To Set A Minecraft Servers Seed

Last updated 05 Feb 2026

Need a game server?

Spin one up fast with our feature-rich panel and seriously low prices.

1. Login to the Kinetic Panel

2. Power down your server & head to the settings page.

3. You will then head to the Server Properties tab.

4. Now, you will search for "seed" in the Search Settings box.

5. If you have an existing world you'll need to either delete the current world or create a new one by going over to "Settings > World File" and typing in a new name. You can now set your seed in the Level Seed box and start your server and it will generate a new world with that seed.

notice
If the box is not present, you will need to boot the server online once.
