How To Make Yourself Operator (OP) On A Minecraft Server

Last updated 07 Jan 2026

Need a game server?

Spin one up fast with our feature-rich panel and seriously low prices.

Operators (OPs) have access to most of the servers commands that allow them to moderate a server. However, we only recommend only giving OP to people who you can trust on your server.

Using the Server Console

1. Login to the Kinetic Panel

2. Head to the Console Page

3. When you are logged into the server, you can type into the console op username. That will grant operator permissions.

4. From there, you can press enter on your Keyboard & it will grant Operator to that player.

All set! You should now have Operator (OP) Permissions in game!
