How to use the Backup Manager
If you want to have a backup of your servers files, you can utilize our Backup Manager to do so.
Getting Started
1 Login to the Kinetic Panel
2 Head to the Backup Manager page under the Server Tools category.
3 Then, click on the "Create Backup" button.
4 From there, you will give your backup a name, and click Start Backup. You can also ignore files within the Backup Manager if you wish for them to not be backed up.
Locking & Unlocking
You can Lock & Unlock a backup by clicking the Lock button, this will prevent any automated Schedules from deleting this backup & you will not be able to delete the backup until it is unlocked
Restore a Backup
1 You will now see your backup. Click on the three lines and you can select restore & your files will be restored inside of your FIle Manager.
That is how you create a backup & restore them on the Kinetic Panel.
Excluding & Including Specific Files
You can exclude specific files from being backed up on your server. Whether this is the Mods folder or specific files. To do this follow the steps below.
1 Go to the File Manager on the Kinetic Panel
2 You should now see a Green folder on the right hand side of some files. When the folder is Green, the files will be backed up within the Backup Manager Backups. If the folder is Red, the files will not be backed up within the Backup Manager. You can click on the folder to Include or Exclude files.
