Hytale doesn't support SRV records so you'll need a dedicated port/domain if you want to setup your own custom domain.
To set a custom domain, you'll need to buy a domain for a company like namecheap. Once you own the domain you'll be able to set your own DNS record. The type of record you'll need to set is an A record.
If you want say myamazingserver.mydomain.com
You'll need to put myamazingserver in the host box
Your server IP in the IP box.
If you want just mydomain.com to direct to your server. Put @ in the host box.
