How to optimize your Hytale server

Pick The Right Package

For bigger worlds and a lot of mods, you need to make sure you have the right plan. The game can run on 4gb, but we recommend for big servers to opt for 16gb. Thats why at Kinetic we've pushed our prices down really low, so you can get a power, smooth server, without costing you a load of money

View Distance

The view distance is a big factor when it comes to your server running smooth. The default is 12 chunks, while you can set this to whatever you like, we recommend not to go over 12. If you're having lag, then the first step should be to lower this number.

There are some mods/plugins that can help with performance, here is a list of them here:
