How To Ban Or Kick Players On Your Hytale Server

Ban and un-ban players on your Hytale server via commands

Lets say you face a situation where somebody on your server needs to be removed. To ban or kick a player via commands, you can use these commands in console:

To ban:
ban <username> [Reason]
To Un-ban:
unban <username>

To Kick:
kick <playername>

If you're admin on your server, you can also run this commands in game. But you'll need to use a "/" before inputting the command.

How to ban and un-ban players via Player Manager

Sometimes commands can be complicated. Here's how to use the Player Manager to Ban and Un-ban players:

1. Login to your Kinetic Panel

2. Go to Player Manager.

   

3. Here, you'll see a list of all the players who have joined your server. Can you ban and unban the players here.

   The Un-ban option will only appear on a player if they're banned already.
   

How to find information about the players you've banned via File Manager

In your server files, you'll find a document that includes all the information about the player's you've banned. Follow these steps on how to access that file:

1. Login to your Kinetic Panel

2. Go to File Manager.

   

3. Scroll down till you see a the file "bans.json". You can open this file.

   

4. This document will list all the information about the bans you've made on your server.
