Minecraft Live 2025

Minecraft live is a Livestream which the Minecraft team hosts to give updates with everything to do with Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock Edition. This year we will be getting a never-before-seen look at game drops, exclusive updates coming to minecraft & much more! You can watch the Minecraft Live 2025 Video Here on YouTube.

Vibrant Visuals!

Minecraft will be enhancing it's visuals in the near future, with adding built-in shaders support, without needing the use of Mods & other 3rd party implementations within the game. Vibrant Visuals will make Minecraft come to life, alloiwng for volumetric lighting, which you can watch the sun's rays carve across the Overworld. Every block & mob within Minecraft will also cast their own unique shadow, light will also have the ability to cast through windows.

Availbility.

From the Mojang team, the Vibrant Visuals feature will be available first on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition devices. However, this is just the first step while they bring Vibrant Visuals to Minecraft: Java Edition.

This will take time for the Mojang team to make Vibrant Features right, as they want this to be a sustainable way of making improvements to both Bedrock and Java editions long into the future.

The Dried Ghast, Ghastling, Happy Ghast and Locator Bar.

There will be a new block found within the Nether called the Dried Ghast, with this Dried Ghast, you will need to bring it to the Overworld to submerge the Dried Ghast in Water. After some time within water the Dried Ghast will turn into the Ghastling, which will fly around the player until it turns into a Happy Ghast! The Happy Ghast you can put a harness on top of it and fly around with up to 4 total players!

Locator Bar

The Locator bar will be a feature within an upcoming Minecraft update, this will be a feature that allows you to find your friends a bit easier within your Minecraft World. However, there are some things to consider as when you are using the Locator bar with some of its features!

Sneak: When a player is sneaking, they're player bar will not show & keep you hidden.

Wear a mask: if you were wearing a Mob Head or a Carved Pumpkin, it will keep you keep hidden.

Being Invisible: If you drink a Potion of Invisibility, you will not show up on the Locator Bar as long as the potion effect remain active.

If you are a Creator or a Server Admin, you can choose to disable the Player Locator bar to tailor towards your gameplay experience. It's turned on by Default, although you will be able to disable it.
