Rust server admins have access to a wide variety of commands to help with server management. This includes: kicking/banning players, restarting the server and many more.

Adding an Admin/Moderator

Moderators can be added to your Rust server using the game panel. Moderators have access to all in game commands but are unable to promote other people to moderator. firstly, you would need the players SteamID, this can be found by checking out this article

1 Login to the Kinetic Panel

2 Navigate to the Console Tab.

3 Enter the command moderatorid <STEAMID> <NAME (or) REASON>.

4 From there you will also put writecfg into the console. this will save the configuration for the next time the user logs in.

Adding an Owner

Owners can be added to your Rust server using the game panel. Owners have access to all in game commands but can promote other people to moderator and owner. firstly, you would need the players SteamID, this can be found by checking out this article

1 Login to the Kinetic Panel

2 Navigate to the Console Tab.

3 Enter the command ownerid <STEAMID> <NAME (or) REASON>.

4 From there you will also put writecfg into the console. this will save the configuration for the next time the user logs in.
