How to install mods on your Project Zomboid Server

Modding your Project Zomboid server can bring a unique experience while adding items, changing textures & overall just giving the game a new feeling.

1 Login to the Kinetic Panel

2 Head to the File Manager.

3 Open Zomboid < Server > World.ini

4 Search for Mods= & WorkshopItems=

5 Enter in WorkshopItems the IDs of the mods.

6 In mods, put the mod's ID. Tends to be its name, no spaces

Finding the ID's.

Head to your mod of your choosing in the Steam Workshop.

In our case, the Workshop & Mod ID are at the bottom of the mods page, they be different for you.

File Manager

If you want to add more than one mod, you will put modname1;modname2;modname3 in the config & add the ; character to seperate the mods, this is the same for the Workshop ID's.

Personalise how Kinetic Hosting looks and how you move around it. Your choices are saved on this device.

Press Ctrl+K to search. When link hints are enabled, hold Shift to label every visible link and control.

High-contrast dark theme

Use black and dark backgrounds with white text and stronger borders throughout the site.

Keyboard link hints

Hold Shift to show a temporary key on every visible link and control. Keep holding Shift and type a label to activate it.

Keyboard navigation

Ctrl+K opens site search. When link hints are enabled, hold Shift to label every visible page link, menu item, order control and location. Keep Shift held while typing the displayed label, or release Shift to close the labels.

Search Kinetic Hosting

Search site pages, game servers, knowledgebase articles, blog posts, FAQs and modpacks.

Enter at least two characters to search the site.
