Using the 3D Chunk viewer

Why use the 3D chunk viewer, and how does it work?

• Inspect certain chunks

• Delete blocks or structures that may be causing server crashes

• Find builds that may be causing lag and remove them
  

How to access the 3D chunk viewer?

1. Login to your Kinetic Panel

2. Start your server.

   

3. On the left side of the panel, click "World Map"

   

4. When you're on the world map menu, you can ctrl-left click the chunk you wish to edit.

   

5. Once you've selected the chunk, you'll then see the 3D Chunk View menu. In this menu, you can zoom in and out, and move the chunk around to see what it's contents are.

   

6. The 3D Chunk viewer has a few buttons with different functions.

   

7. If you scroll down a bit, you'll find the inspector section. Which will provide you with information about the contents of the chunk, such as entities.

   

8. When you delete anything in the chunk, you'll need to first click "Stage Chunk" so that the changes can be done, and then you'll need to save the region for it to be applied to the world.

   

9. Once you've saved, you can restart your server.
