How To Split A Server

Last updated 08 Feb 2026

Need a game server?

Spin one up fast with our feature-rich panel and seriously low prices.

The Split Tool allows for you to split your server to create multiple servers on one plan. You can then use these servers to make a network, host another game, or just as an extra server to host a new world, version or modpack.

We recommend allocating a Minimum of 100% CPU to your server when splitting. If you need more CPU, you can upgrade your threads in the billing area.

1. Login to the Kinetic Panel

2. On the left hand menu in the Server Tools category, click on "Split Tool"

3. On that tab you will see your available resources which can be used to split off into other servers. Click on "Split Server"

4. A Popup will appear where you can split your servers allocations & you can also keep your current Subusers. When you are done configuring your Split, click on "Split This Server".

5 You can also edit your split server by clicking on the Edit icon next to it, This will open up the same menu as before. If you want to delete the split, you can click on the Trash Can Icon.
