Removing Player Death Penalty

Sometimes, you may want to stop players from losing their items when dying on your Hytale server. To do this, you'll need to edit your world files. This guide will show you how to do so.

1. Login to your Kinetic Panel

2. Stop your server by clicking the power button, then click the square icon.

   

3. Go to your file manager.

   

4. In the file manager, you'll need to open the following folders:
   universe > worlds > your world name (For the purpose of this guide, our world file is simply called "default")

   

5. In that world folder, you'll see a file called "Config.json", you'll need to open this file.

   

In this file, you will need to create a new line of text at line 39. Here's the code you will need to paste into the config.json file.

   "ItemsLossMode": "Configured",
